#23: Richard Edson as the Garage Attendant
Richard Edson played the slick, laid-back garage attendant who takes Cameron’s father’s prized Ferrari—and promptly goes joyriding through Chicago with his buddy. With a grin and a shrug, he radiates effortless cool, turning a tiny role into one of the film’s most unforgettable and mischievously rebellious moments.

In 1986, Edson was a downtown New York musician-turned-actor who had played drums for Sonic Youth and toured with the band Konk. He was relatively new to Hollywood, having just appeared in Jim Jarmusch’s Stranger Than Paradise, and was gaining attention for his offbeat, charismatic screen presence.
