What Ever Happened to the Cast of The A-Team?

George Peppard played Hannibal Smith, the cigar-chomping, fearless leader of the A-Team. Known for his brilliant strategies and love of disguises, he guided the team through dangerous missions with confidence and charm. His catchphrase, “I love it when a plan comes together,” became one of the show’s most iconic lines.

During the early 1980s, Peppard was already a seasoned Hollywood actor with a long film career behind him. Taking the role of Hannibal revitalized his popularity and brought him to a new generation of viewers. Although known to be tough and sometimes difficult on set, he remained fully committed to the series.
