#12: George Clooney Joined Roseanne Right After Being Fired
George Clooney appeared in Roseanne’s first season as Booker, Roseanne’s boss at the factory where she worked. At the time, Clooney was far from a household name and was still bouncing between TV jobs trying to catch a break.

He took the role in 1988, just a year after being fired from The Facts of Life in 1987. Roseanne became one of his key early gigs, giving him steady exposure before his career finally exploded in the ’90s. Not bad for a future movie star running a factory floor.
