#4: Asking for More Lines Got Joseph Written Out
Lee Bergere, who played the Carringtons’ loyal majordomo Joseph, hoped to give his character a little more presence on screen. But when he asked the producers for additional screentime, the request didn’t go over well. Instead of expanding his role, they abruptly decided to write him out.
