#57: Ignoring Eyelash Definition
Some women skip lashes because mascara feels messy, irritating, or unnecessary. But lashes help frame the eyes, and without any definition, the eye area can look less awake. This is especially true if brows are light, lids are softer, or eyeliner is being kept minimal.

A little lash definition can make a big difference. Curl lashes gently, use a lightweight mascara, or try a tubing formula if smudging is a problem. Brown or brown-black can look softer than black. Even one clean coat can open the eyes without making the makeup feel heavy.
