#16: Ignoring Tailoring
Many women buy clothes that almost fit and decide they are “good enough.” The problem is that small fit issues can change the whole impression. Sleeves that are too long, pants that puddle, or jackets that pull can make an outfit look tired, even when the pieces are nice.

Tailoring does not have to mean rebuilding your wardrobe. Hemming trousers, shortening sleeves, taking in a waist, or adjusting a blazer can make clothes look more expensive and modern. When garments follow your shape properly, you look sharper, more current, and more comfortable in what you’re wearing.
